Chewbacca

If Shane Prigmore had drawn Chewbacca, would it have looked something like this?

Hum... probably not: it would have been much more awesomer!

What do you say Mister Prigmore?

Portfolio

I haven't put a Portfolio together in 7 years!
It's time to get to it!

Here are the first 4 pages:

Watercolor

Yesterday, my team of concept artists and I went on a field trip to Millcreek canyon to do a plein air painting. I haven't used my watercolors in years so I decided to give it a try.
It was so fun! Not that my painting was successful by any means but it was so good to touch real paint after all those years of working digitally!

Pirate

We got a really cool model today for our drawing session
A real pirate!

Benjamin Gallego

Here is the reason why I haven't posted in a while.
Third boy!
Pretty cute reason huh! :)

The Little Prince - Le Petit Prince

Working on an illustration of "The Little Prince" (Le Petit Prince) a classic of French children literature.
If you haven't read it yet, you should, I highly recommend it!

Here is a detail:

Brush Experiment

Hello everybody!

So here it is, I'm finally doing it! After years of using Painter, I've decided to give Photoshop a real try. This piece started as a brush experiment/emulation study using one of Aurelie Neyret's marvelous illustration (Aurelie, tu es fantastique!) and it evolved into a quick illustration.

I'm liking Photoshop so far! Nice textural brushes. I'll keep using it.

Brothers Forever

A little drawing for my kids with a loose watercolor brush technic I'm experimenting with.

Mariachi-Dachi

A piece of fan art I did for my good friend Kevin Merriman He's making a comic book involving a Mariachi Band that ends up in Japan. Very fun story!
