Oh feedback, great feedback!

Here is a new version of the Gangster. I changed the shadow, the tommy gun and the left hand. Thanks to Reed Hawker, Adam Ford, Dave Malan and David Bybee for the feedback!
I think feedback is one of the coolest thing about blogs. I encourage every visitors on this blog to give me some. Don't be afraid to do it even if you don't know me or if you feel like you're not good enough to do it. Even if you don't draw and paint, you can still give great feedback. For example, it didn't take any art background to my good friend David Bybee to notice that the tommy gun on this picture was all wrong!! :) (I drew it in the car without reference)
Take it easy everyone,

Seb

well when i saw the first version, i thought the left hand, just like the right hand, was covered by shadow so the fingers were invisible.. better so, with visible fingers anyway!
i really appreciated your words about feedback! :)

I totally agree. It looks way better. Feedback is so important too... from everyone! Skilled or unskilled artists, we all create for the enjoyment of everyone so I say, " Bring on the Comments"!

Thanks for your comment: that was my thinking too: the hand being in the shadow, i didn't feel like it was important to define every finger but it'd definetly less confusing now. Thanks!

Adrian: Definetly! Bring it on people!! :)

Well I'm floored! You don't happen to give lessons in coloring,do you? My jaw hasn't stopped dropping yet.
Wonderful works,Sebastien. Thanks for sharing!

I agreewith you but it's difficult to give a good and objective feedback when you lose sight every time you come here, Seb!!!

Beautiful blog and great work all around. I love the master copy comparisons. You capture the values and color and a bit of the essence of each master you study. Very inspiring.
